Automatic Vacuum Filtration Unit – Model VFU-2

The Model VFU-2 is an advanced, automatic vacuum filtration system engineered for the continuous filtration of large volumes of water. This robust unit is suitable for either bench or floor mounting, providing a versatile solution for industrial and laboratory filtration needs.
 
Key Features & Automated Operation
  • Durable Construction: The filtration chambers are manufactured from thick, beige-colored polypropylene plastic, ensuring longevity and chemical resistance.
  • Continuous Filtration: The system employs a dual-chamber design that automatically switches operation without pausing the filtration process.
    • One chamber is under vacuum, drawing water through an external filter (note: the filter itself is not part of the VFU-2 system).
    • When the water reaches a sensor level, the system seamlessly changes over to the second chamber, vents the first chamber, and pumps its contents to a drain.
  • PLC-Controlled Efficiency: The entire filtration process is managed by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). This automation cycles all valves and pumps without requiring any operator input, saving time and labor. 
Setup Requirements
The VFU-2 system is designed to integrate into your existing setup and requires connection to:
  • An external filtering system (filter media is required and sold separately).
  • A suitable waste drain.
