Degassing Kits

We have curated a range of degassing kits for diverse applications by combining our standard mild steel degassing chambers and DVP vacuum pumps.

The degassing kits come supplied with all the necessary connection nozzles to both the chamber and vacuum pump. If you require a faster pumping time then a larger pump can replace the standard kit pump.

All degassing chambers and vacuum pumps are supplied with a 12 month warranty.

Please note :

Degassing water based mixtures such as Plaster, Acrylic, Refractory Cements etc can lead to problems with the water vapor mixing with oil in the vacuum pump. If you are continuously degassing water based mixtures then we can offer specialised pumps and equipment to help mitigate these issues. Please contact us for advice.
The volume of the chamber is not equal to the capacity of liquid that can be degassed. Liquids can expand during the degassing process, often increasing to 4-5 times their initial volume. A suitable sized mixing bucket or container should be used inside the chamber to contain the silicon/resin being degassed. The container should have plenty of space to allow for any expansion that may occur during the degassing process.

Optional Extras

Degassing Chamber Wheel Kit & Replacements

Wheel kits are included for the larger size vacuum degassing chambers (our DP76 and DP118 chambers). The wheels are rubber coated, swivel and lockable.

Please inform us when you are are ordering if you would like the wheel Kit included on another vacuum chamber.

The Wheel kit includes all fixings.

Through The Lid Motorised Stirrer

AVE’s variable speed motorised vacuum paddle stirrer is available as a direct replacement for the 42, 76 and 118 litre degassing chamber lid, with a separate control unit.
