High Vacuum Filament Processing Plant

This vacuum system is a very smart piece of tech. even if we say so ourselves.

With a vacuum chamber capable of 2 x 10^-8 mbar and a smart PLC system fully automating the process this customer can now ditch their old Edwards 306 Autocoaters and process their filaments in record time. The old coaters were taking around 40 mins per cycle of 1 -2 filament trays, but thanks to the Agilent scroll pump and Leybold TurboVac our system can complete a cycle of up to 4 filament trays in just 10 minutes with a single press of a button! (well a finger tap on the integrated touchscreen anyway)

The chamber is fully electropolished stainless steel with a sliding shelf for easy loading, again with fully electropolished tray and stainless steel sliders.
